Deutsche Börse EUROGOV Germany Money Market

Summary

Tradable indices for fixed-income bonds  Deutsche Börse has launched a new index family for the government bond market with six EUROGOV® Germany Indices. The indices are based on binding quotes for bonds and track the German market for fixed-income government bonds denominated in euros. This index charts the development of the German money market. The money market is the market for short-term loans and balances. Banks or companies can take out loans with a term of up to twelve months via the money market. Depending on the maturity, these may be in the form of overnight money, money at call, one-month money, three-month money or another form. The participants on the money market include the Bundesbank, banks and large industrial companies. EUROGOV® Money Market is composed of government bonds with a residual maturity of between two months and one year.
